Things to Do

There's always something to do in the Pays de l'Or

Carnon is a small yachting harbour located between Palavas and La Grande Motte. It is dedicated to offering a warm welcome to its unspoilt beaches and its events right through the summer season.  Funfair, concerts, evening events, activities for young and old - there's always a good reason for visiting this resort.

Home to the celebrated cartoonist Albert Dubout and  his famous  miniature railway, a fishing village and  iconic seaside resort, Palavas-les-Flots offers so many different aspects to its visitors. Whether it's for its beaches, its restaurants, its walks, its lighthouse or its harbour, you'll have plenty of opportunities to wander round your future holiday destination.

La Grande Motte
La Grande Motte  was built as part of an ambitious development plan in the 1960s and is now firmly part of the heritage of the 20th century thanks to the  imaginative architecture of its creator Jean Balladur  who designed its outlines so recognisable by all. Hotspot for summer tourism,  you'll always find  something interesting on  - leisure activities, sport, relaxation, shopping.
